We, Julia and Scott McKay came to Habbies Howe in 1998. Previously farming on the Murrumbidgee west of Wagga Wagga. We were both brought up on farms, Scott on a mixed farm at Henty NSW and Julia on a dairy farm in Surrey UK.

Habbies Howe is situated on the Granitic soils of the Southern Strathbogie Ranges. It is has a spread of creek flats, undulating and steep country ranging in height from 400 to 625 mts and an Average Rainfall 800 mm/yr.

It is approximately 2000 Ha's, consisting of 1600 freehold and 400 leasehold.

Currently we are running over 1000 Angus breeders and their progeny.
